They were married for 55 years. He was the loving father of two children and a proud grandfather of four grandchildren. Judson retired from Gulf States Paper Mill in Demopolis, Alabama after 35 years. He was an active member of the Alabama National Guard and was called up to the Army for active duty on one occasion. He served as a deacon in the church for 45 years, served as a Royal Ambassador leader for over 20 years and Children's Committee Chairman for 10 years. He enjoyed woodworking in his man cave. He enjoyed making things for his grandchildren and doll furniture, toys, bookshelves and etc. for Warrior Academy. Since "Miss" Marilyn was a Daycare Director and a teacher at Warrior Academy, he made and repaired whatever she needed. When anyone else needed help, he always tried to help.
