Frances was preceded in death by her parents, David and Ethel Stone; her sister, Earnestine Smith; and husband, James Albert Elam.
She is survived by her husband, Wesley Wyatt; her children, Judy Wyatt (Kenny), Al Elam (Susan), Brenda Dzurino (Rob) and Martie Patton (Andy); her grandchildren, Mandy Coleman, Angie Denmark, Lance Tyner, Ginger Johnston, Will Patton, Drew Patton, Jami Patton, Katie Hammonds and Jay Elam; eleven great- grandchildren; her sisters, Mary Cranmore and Lee Kinard; and as well as a host of extended family and friends.
Our Mom knew her only cure was going to be in heaven and she was tired. She loved family get-togethers where she always made out the menu and made sure it included each family member's favorite food. Mom was proud that she had a family that loved each other and would get together for every special occasion.
Mom loved flowers and her yard was always full of beautiful flowers. We will miss her sweet face but we will continue as before until we join her in heaven.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons and grandsons-in-law.
Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Clint McEntyre, Dr. Garfield Ramdeen and Dr. Ann Lewis and staff. Also, the family would like to say a special thank you to Dr. Clint McEntyre and nurses, Bailey McKinney and Nikki Cameron, for caring for our wife/Mom in such a loving way.
Services will be 11 a.m. today, August 12, 2017, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, is directing.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Hospice of West Alabama.
